Suggestions for Speakers - Alpine IVA-W200 in Civic 2007

Hello All,

I am planning to install Alpine IVA-W200 (primarily for iPod connectivity and features of Full Speect Connect Option) in my Honda Civic. However, I am confused on speakers. I plan to get speakers 61/2" to connect with my Alpine IVA-W200. I haven't decided to get the amplifier with it. In case if I decide to for it, it will be a 4 channel amp for sure. The sound quality I want should be clean with proper frequency responses. I will appreciate if you kindly let me have your recommendations on the choice of speakers (with and without amp). The volume is not going to be loud in the car (Max 20% of the volume control). The reasons for Alpine IVA-W200 are the expansion features of the head unit as I will be adding navigation and bluetooth in near future.

Moreover, if you guys have installed the Alpine IVA-W200 in your car, kindly share those pictures with me to have an idea on the installation.

Hi All,

As I wait for your suggestion on the speakers, I am evaluting which one of the following will be better.

Boston Acoustics

6 x 9 NX-97

6 1/2 FX-6

or

Alpine

6 x 9 69LP

6 1/2 17LP

The amp will be Infinity RA-5004

Any thoughts or suggestions ?????

i suggest an eq of some sort for the w-200 does not have any EQing capabilities itself.

After listening to various speakers including Boston Accoustics with Hifonics Amp - I liked the following Infinity speakers

KAPPA 693.7I - 6" x 9" three-way

KAPPA 62.7I - 6-1/2" two-way

Any experiences or suggestions in this regard.
