Suggestions for New setup in 1997 Corolla (I'm a rookie)

Hello CarAudio forums!

This is my first post - and i'd like to start off with, im a complete noob at car audio, but quite the home audio fanatic. My son bought a 1997 toyota corolla (his first) and we didnt notice untill he had already paid, that all four speakers are completely shot!

So i come to you friends, i think i need new:

Head Unit

2x Tweeters?

1x Sub?

2x mid range?

Amp?

Price range 250 ish but if that not going to get me anywhere then i suppose that can be increased!

Sry to say unless you find a crack head that's just got some car audio 250 isn't going to do it all

Start with one piece at a time, get a head unit first then buy some door speakers for the front. Next get an amp to amp them, then look into buying a sub setup, a custom enclosure for it and an amp to power it.

Haha I see - alright,

Lets take out the subwoofer; after doing a bit of researching i've found that thats the most expensive part,

and i suppose i could raise it to 400

Start with head unit that's the most important part then build from that.

If I was going to buy a radio I would look for

4 volt pre out

3 set of rca's

USB input

I like pioneer but kenwood, alpine, jvc, and so on works well stay away from dual to pawnshop brands or what ever cheap brand Walmart is pushing at the time
