Hey guys.

Bought a Diamond D612 from here. Putting it into a sealed box, and I'm looking for a good amp to power it for 200-250 bucks.

Any suggestions?

It seems like in that range its either get something shitty or spend 150 bucks more and get something nice. Nothing in the classifieds really seems to fit my application. Any suggestions for this sort of middle of the road budget?

Looking to get 600-900w RMS @ 2 Ohms

Greatly appreciate any suggestions, I'm lost in a sea of ebay auctions atm ;P

See if you can find a Kenwood eXcelon KAC-X401M while you're perusing the ads on eBay.

I run my M6mkII12D4 (same sub as yours, older nomenclature) off of one (600w @ 2 Ohms rated, benches a bit higher than that) and it sounds pretty good to me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

On average you can find an X401M for $150 or less on eBay.
