suggestions for a suprise

I like the flowers on the seat thing... one trouble. We are not going to be in town. We willb e in Calgary for teh weekend. We get in on friday, and i want to give it to her on sat. I won't have any way of keeping the flowers a suprise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif and they'll freeze if I levae them in the car the whole time. hrm... maybe the bear is a good idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

another slight problem is that the sivler chain is a VERY delicate diamond cut chain, witha rather small, tastefull diamond and purpley-something or other pendant. I will have to work hard to figure out a way for it to stay intact, lol

On a not entirely unrelated topic, wonderbread, any recommendations on places to stay around the Calgary area for a little romantic getaway? My wife and I are planning a little vacation for when I get back from this deployment, and since we live in MT and neither of us has ever been to Canada, and Calgary is the closeset real city to us, we decided that is where we are going. I've been looking at Bamf and Lake Louisa, particularly the Fairmount Lodge. Any other suggestions? I figure $250 Canadian a night should be reasonable?

go to banff... beautiful..

calgary is an ugly city, edmonton is smaller, much more attractive. But the rockies is unreal.. if either of you ski, do it.

banff is a wonderful town, very touristy, a great place for a get away. The Fairmont is one of the best hotels in the area.. a true 5 star. Expensive for a reason. High class, beautiful hotel. Stay there, if it's in your budget.. I don't like calgary, lol

Thanks for comfirming my choice...We will probably swing into Calgary one day to do some shopping. There isn't anything at all in Great Falls in the way of shopping for my wife and this is the first real vacation either of us has had in awhile so we want to relax. I don't mind spending the money for a nice place and I have heard great things about the Fairmount. Thanks again.

I don't ski (bad knees already) and there are plenty of places around MT if that is what we were looking for, we just want a nice place away from home to spend some quality time together. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
