Question... I got my girlfriend a beautiful little necklace for valentines day, now I'm just wondering how to give it to her. I don't wnat to just ahnd it to her - here, happy vcalentine's day. I want to do something a little but more romantic and memorable. I am taking her out for a nice dinner that night, but again, I don't know if I want to give it to her then, as I can't think of any special way to do it. I was thinking maybe as a surprise - have her 'find' it somewhere... but where...

Ugh... it was hard enough to find hte piece, now giving it to her should be the easy part, no?

Seriously though, if you want her to magically find it, there's quite a few things you can do. Slip it in her coat pocket. Talk to the restaurant manager and have them put the necklace around her dessert plate. Or slip her a roofie, **** her as she is passed out, then put the necklace around her neck when you're done. Yeah, she will have been violated, but she'll have a necklace to show for it.

Well, i bought my gf a ring a while back. it was on sale at the jewelers, white gold...tanzanite, 1/4 carat diamond in it. So, i wrote her a little letter...and while i was a her house..she had to jump in the shower. While she was in the shower...went to her room and left the letter and the ring box on her pillow. Then i went back out in the other room and watched TV. She came out of the shower wrapped in a towel...walked into her room, and a minute later came running out and jumped on top of my on the couch and...it was good stuff. peace

Thats not a bad idea... I gave my gf her promise ring at dinner, at an expensive restuarnt... had her in tears lol

That's how I gave my wife her engagement ring. I had a whole big elaborate plan but she had made other plans for the weekend, and I couldn't insist on blowing off all her plans without her thinking something was up, so I had to work on the fly. I brought flowers when I picked her up. I bought the bear at the florist and one of the girls there made a big elaborate bow around the bear's neck with the ring in the middle of it. She was gawking at the ring the whole time (it's quite the beautiful stone and a pretty unique band). Towards the end of the night I gave my wife the bear. It took a moment for her to notice the ring (**** darkness), but when she did, I got down on my knee and asked her to marry me.

Now I know you are not proposing, but the bear works. There are tons of things you can do at dinner. It could be on the desert tray. It could "magically" appear next to her plate when she isn't looking. You could figure out a way to embarass the hell out of her with the assistance of the wait-staff. You could have it rolled into the napkin (please tell me the resturant you are going to has cloth napkins). It could be around the dozen roses she finds in her seat in the car when you pick her up. The possibilities are endless. One thing to consider is the closer to the end of the night, the fresher it is in her mind when it comes time for her to repay your thoughtfulness, if you catch my drift.

Only works if she has a tiny purse, otherwise it ends up in the abyss, never to be seen again. You need more control on the timing.
