replied...problem is you wanna make it small enough where it doesnt raise a flag to Apple, yet enough to where you are happy. For the OP, I think the number requested was equitable for the situation.

Yup! As weird and unrealistic as it sounds, it is apparently easy as fvck to acquire the man himself, Steve Jobs' email. I just searched on the net and found his personal email address. Apple never gave me back my money for a free iPod after I bought a mac. I did everything they told me to.

The Next day I get an email from Steve Jobs saying it was taken care of, and a few hours later Allen Rhodes himself calls me and says I should be seeing the check within a week.

I got the check 6 days later.

Amazing huh? It's like email Bill Gates himself and having him take care of something so petty.
