Subwoofers still playing when volume is off

from how you melted the ground/rcas im willing to bet you just put the wire under a bolt and said good enough paint wasnt taken away. The seat belt bolt isnt a very good ground i think

If it's a unibody car just drill a hole, sand, and bolt it directly to the body. If you have a frame vehicle (like many suv's and trucks) sand and bolt to the frame for best results. And yes get different rca's lol.

Did you even try unhooking your rca's and see if the sound was still there?

Okay so I have somewhat of an update..I did forget to add that when the engine is running, thats when the subs are still playing with no volume..but when the key isnt turned over all the way, it plays just fine and goes on and off with the volume..I replaced the RCAs with some new ones and got the same result...If it was a pico fuse wouldnt that mean the radio would do it even if the engine wasnt turned over?? Any more help would be greatly appreciated..
