Subwoofers not doing what they are so pose to....

Hey guys, I just got in 2 Rockford P3 D215's and I'm using the new Rockford T1000-1BDCP. My amp came rated and tested at 15** RMS. I know the sub's there self do 500ish RMS a piece. My problem is there's like no bass coming from them. Just like some Vibrations. I don't know if I'm using the wrong wires or not connected right but I have everything connected from what the book says. I can take a video if needed but my 2 10 pioneers destroyed these and they aren't near the power of these, so what I'm guessing something isn't hooked up right and I could use some help getting these things back to normal and hit hard like there so pose to.

sounds like they are out of phase. chances are somewhere you accidently crossed a neg/pos wire, and now the subs are moving opposite of eachother and essentially cancelling eachother out.

How do u have them wired? Video would help. U sure u got positive to positive and neg to neg??? Sounds like reverse polarity

UM There dual voice coil 2 ohms. On each sub i have them Positive to negative with 1 wire. Ill upload a PAINT picture on what i did be right back.

im assuming you're running it at 2 ohms. it should look something like this:

So on each sub you have one of the pos/negs in series and the rest to the amp? that should be giving you a 2 ohm load. Try unplugging one sub and see if it's louder. if it is you have phasing issues

Didn't try that. How could i fix the Phase problem if thats the problem?? These are brand new just got them in subs and amp...

phasing is just a wiring problem. somewhere in your wiring for the speaker wire a positive and negative got crossed. because of this, when one sub moves out, the other moves in.

some quick sound theory here...multiple sounds are created by adding up sine waves. however, when the subs are out of phase, they are both playing the same sine wave but one is inversed. when they are inverse and you add them up it will always equal 0, essentially a flat wave, which is why they aren't reproducing much sound

I think thats the problem because my 2 10s hit extremely harder lol and i was very confused and they were a bit weaker then these... I'm going to test this Theory out. Thanks alot!!!!!!!!

FIXED! well I unplugged 1 and yeah lets say my car shakes. Can't wait to hook both up tomorrow! Your like my hero lol thanks alot!!! P3's are very nice!!
