My box is almost done, its a blowthrough setup with 2 sa-12s. Is tuned to 46hz how would i go for tunning subsonic filter if it only goes from 15-35?
you don't set a ss filter to the boxes tuned setting...wherever or whoever you got that from don't go there again.Pretty much where to set my subsonic since on a normal box if its tuned to 32 u would set it to 32, and since mine is tuned to 46hz in a blowthrough setup didn't know where to set it at.
I got my box design from dcarcustoms, members on this site recommend me himyou don't set a ss filter to the boxes tuned setting...wherever or whoever you got that from don't go there again.see the math i did? thats how you set your ss
what does your box design have to do with it? I'm saying whoever or whatever told you to set your subsonic to the boxes tuningI got my box design from dcarcustoms, members on this site recommend me him
My main question was asking how/where do i set my ss since its not a normal ported box, never said anyone told me to set my ss to anything, box builder just told me it was tuned to 46 nd i didnt know where to set my ss to, thanks for the info.what does your box design have to do with it? ThanksSimple way is to take your tuning and multiply it by .75 to get your ss. In your case it's 34.5
thats for ported, he has a 4th order different story.Simple way is to take your tuning and multiply it by .75 to get your ss. In your case it's 34.5
we are speaking of two different things but anywho you set your SS by dividing your tuning in half then in half again then subtract that from your tuning. my equation in my first post or multiply your tuning by .75 lolMy main question was asking how/where do i set my ss since its not a normal ported box, never said anyone told me to set my ss to anything, box builder just told me it was tuned to 46 nd i didnt know where to set my ss to, thanks for the info.
Its a 4th order, you dont really need a subsonic filter since there's a sealed section to control the low end already. Just to be on the safe side just play something that hits pretty low and hard, and try to hear if the sub starts bottoming out, raise the subsonic until it stops.

blow through and tuned to 46hz is a dead giveaway of a 4th order enclosure. Op might not even know its 4th order.we are speaking of two different things but anywho you set your SS by dividing your tuning in half then in half again then subtract that from your tuning. my equation in my first post or multiply your tuning by .75 lol
