subsonic filter on Kicker ZX750.1?

Hey all, I'm running 2x12" Type R's in 5/0cubes @ 32Hz. Should I have the subsonic filter on or off? I know what it does but don't really know how it affects the subs that well, especially because these guys can take a beating.

set it at like 15 or 20, you cant hear anything below 20

Ported, use the filter. It stops you amp from playing to low of a freq. which could hurt your subs. I would think it would make your amp more efficient since its not trying to amplify that lower inaudible signal.

The above poster is correct...you want to have the subsonic filter ON when running subs in a ported enclosure.

i don't use a subsonic filter. didn't with my 750.1 or my current amp either.

The SS filter on those amps are preset to 25hz, so it won't do much good figuring your your box is 32hz. I would turn it on just for good measure, but it really won't matter either way.
