Subaru Legacy GT

Does anyone have any experience with the 2005 on Subaru Legacy GT? I am thinking of going to take a look at one tomorrow, but have no experience with Subaru. I also have no experience with the Subaru AWD system, or with turbo cars, so anything I should be looking out for in the AWD or turbo? the car I am going to look at has about 56k.

Its either that or a 2008 Ford Fusion/Saturn Aura....... I kinda want something that makes driving a bit more interesting, and the 4 year old Subaru is holding value better than a year old Ford/Saturn.

Thanks.

fun car to drive but not the best for aftermarket systems..well head units at least.
I noticed that about the head units, something about the HVAC controls.

Any other reliable vehicles with similar price/performance?

ya..you pretty much have to leave the stock head unit in place and place an aftermarket deck somewhere else. Car is a blast to drive though and is pretty sleek looking too imo.

I guess for the system I could always get something like the Rockford 3Sixty, Alpine PXA etc and keep the stock head unit. The particular vehicle I am looking at is a silver wagon, fed up with my PITA Maxima.

Maxima > Subaru
Also why a wagon do you have kids to drive to soccer practice?
Maxima > Subaru not when the Maxima you have is constantly breaking down, other than that its a nice car, just there comes a point when you have had enough with spending money on repairs.

Yes, I do have kids, 2 of them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

is this the turbo model Legacy?

The turbo Legacy has the same motor as the STI. They are pretty quick.

With a few mods that Legacy will smoke a Maxima.
