sub wiring?

Single sa8 dvc d2, im going to be using a boss cx750 2 channel 2ohm stable amp, I know its a junk amp but its what i have for the moment, Any help on wiring it up to get the most power even though this amp will probably only tickle this sub..

The way I see it, you only have one option. The sub is dual 2 meaning you can wire it to 4ohms or 1. Your amp is not 1 ohm stable therefor you must wire to 4. Also I bet the amp is only 4ohm stable bridged anyway.

Lol, yea im going to have to have a good mono amp to punch it, i have been tickling subs for years now but never had one laugh.. So i can wire the sub in series and bridge it to get all i can from it right??

Also worried about having to use full gain and bass boost to get it going, I do not know if this is bad to run it wide open on my new sub even with low wattage.

You dont want the amp to be clipping as that will create more heat in the sub which means more likely to blow even if you are not reaching rms.

actually the sa8 d2s are usually dual 2.4 coils so you could possibly wire in parallel...
