sub wiring

got a lanzar opti1400 and 2 12 w3v2. what is the best way to wire the subs to the amp. the subs are 4ohm. the amp specs are 500@4ohms, 800@2ohms .and 1000 rms @ 1.3 ohms. a diagram would be much appreciated thanx.

take the 2 positives coming from the subs, and the 2 negatives coming from the subs, and wire it to the amp, positive to positive, negative to negative

2 SVC drivers with Voice Coils in Parallel

This is pretty simple, too. Wire both woofer (+) to the amplifier's (+) and do the same with the (-) connections.

2 Ohm Subwoofer: 1 Ohm

3 Ohm Subwoofer: 1.5 Ohms

4 Ohm Subwoofers: 2 Ohms

8 Ohm Subwoofers: 4 Ohms

12 Ohm Subwoofers: 6 Ohms

both subs are dual voice coils. thats the problem i was having. i am not sure how to wire them to get the proper load

oh ok, should have originally specified!

Connecting the voice coils of each driver in parallel (+ to +, - to -) and the drivers themselves in parallel (+ to +, etc.) will result in the following impedances:

Dual-4 Ohm Subwoofers: 1 Ohm
