sub wiring question

Hey All,

Ok so for two subs running dual 4 ohms. To run those at 1 you have to wire them together which means a box with shared chamber?

Yes and no. Yes wiring them together makes 1 ohm but they dont have to share the same chamber

shared chamber boxes are advantageous because of coupling and can be smaller due to that effect.

But they don't have to be in a shared chamber when wiring. Just connect all the negatives together, and positives together when wired to the amp

How do they get the wires from one sub to another thru separate chambers.

you dont have to connect them inside the box. You can simply run each sub to its own set of terminals then connect them at the amp.

Aslong as all the negatives are together and positives, it doesnt matter how you daisy chain it
