Ok if anyone has advice, it would be appreciated.

I recently had a profile 800sx amp stop working. It was powering 2 12' infinity references in a bandpass box. the amp stopped working, so I hooked up a kicker 300.2 to them to make sure it was the amp. This kicker did the job of powering them, although it wasn't as loud. So I got a box for one sub, and hooked up the kicker to it. Now for some reason there is very little bass coming from the sub. I believe all the wiring is correct, so I don't understand where the problem would be from taking the amp powering 2 12's, to an amp powering one sub and losing almost all output. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

it is an svc 4 ohm sub and so I have the wiring going from the amps l+ and r- to the subs left and right inputs... I messed with the gains, and bass control on the h/u, and the power and ground are all ok...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

Don't forget Hoffman's Iron Law. You can have 2 of the 3: low end, efficiency/sensitivity or small enclosure size...
