Alright guy's trying to help out a friend. more then likely this will be going in a neon. but he want's to do one 15 in the 250ish range. the amp he has to power it is this.

its a hifonics brutus bxi1600D the 2007 model

550 watts rms at 4 ohms

1100 at 2 ohms

1600 at 1 ohm

Any suggetions id appericate it ThX guy's.

The 250 range is really going to be hard to deliver 1600 watts too IMO

its not exactly 1600 watts.

Check the forums youll see good fifteens for cheap.

DC Level 4 Or a Fi Q would do nice on that power. A bit over 250 each but still in that range.

Alright guy's it's past $250 range now lol. he'd do like $400 lil over for like two 15s or 18's. but still want's to run that amp. this will be going in a neon. more suggestions would be appericated. also i told em look into a dc sound lab level 4 .

all of these seem to be good subs to work with. if he's trying to with two 15s or 18s, the suggestions will drop off. like maybe just some ssds, some cvr 15s or maw 15s when they come back in.

Whatever you do, tell him not to run those god awful blue audiopipes. Those things are hideous.

Someone on here is running them Not sure who though. Search around, you will find him. When you do, slap him in the head and ask him what the hell he was thinking.

wow that's the same question I'm trying to answer. Right now I'm thinking two type r 12's or two mj-18's for the bxi1606. I'm not sure which will get louder in my explorer.
