Hey guys, finally decided on buying the jbl 1200.1 to push my

2 12" MaAudio XE's

http://www.maaudio.com/productcatalog.cfm?class=268

I understand that this amp does not have a sub sonic filter.

I would like to put the subs in a ported box just because

I'm a high SPL kinda person. I didn't know if there was a

good crossover or something along those lines that I could

get to replace the non-existant filter in the amp.

Also, I currently have 8 guage wire ran off my battery terminal,

should I replace that with 4 guage with this amp or will the 8

guage wire be sufficient.

Thanks in Advance!

I agree, but trying to get one that retains all the heated seats, steering wheel, ac controls and such is really hard.

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

Don't forget Hoffman's Iron Law. You can have 2 of the 3: low end, efficiency/sensitivity or small enclosure size...
