Sub position

Ya, im pretty new to car audio, i just hooked up my first HU like a week ago.. anyways.... i have a pioneer 10" in an open box and im wondering a good position to put it, right now its behind the drivers seat, but its all the way against the seat, is that bad/good? any ideas as to its position?? thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ha ha ur gonna laugh... its a 1986 chevy chevette, its a pretty small car... i thought if i get a crap car, i can afford a decent system so whateva lol

A friend of mine had a chevette that slammed!.. Fire it to the rear of the car.

It is safer in the back...pounding a sub against the seat is not a great thing for the sub and slowly kills it over time...
