Sub/Port orientation in a bronco II

My buddy has a late 80's model Bronco II. I'm gonna be doing an install for him sometime soon and just wanna get one thing straight. I'm pretty sure i've read in these kinda vehicles Sub up port back is the way to go.

Is that correct?

Yeah. Its not gonna be a big system, but for that reason I was hoping to figure out where optimal sound would be.

I miss my old POS bronco II. Nice little 4wd beater. Sub up port back is really popular with suv's but also try sub back port back too just to see which sounds better.
