Stupid rainbow tweeters

Maybe it's just me, I am not sure. When I bought my comp set, it comes with flush mount tweeter things that I used. The tweeter has a screw hole in the back that u screw the pod thing into. But if u screw them together, then how are you supposed to screw the pod into the door becasue the tweeter is in the way. And you can't screw the pod to the door because then you can't screw the tweeter into the pod because it is already screwed into the door panel. Sorry if this is kind of hard to understand.

I know exactly what you are talking about, and I never figured out how it works, i just made my own pod.

I know what you mean because I bought my SLC's and their is no bracket to hold the flush mount to the door, just that weird bolt-in-the-middle-screw.

You'll probably have to make your own brackets. and then connect them to the pod which is screwed into the tweeter.

My slc's had three holes in the cup . two on the sides , one in the middle . I used a couple strips of thin sheet metal and made a metal spring to hold the cup in place for a while . you wont see the hot glue.

However, you'll have to make some sort of metal bar go across the back of the flush mount and screw it into that weird screw in the middle so that if it is pulled it won't come out. Then you can use a little hot glue to keep it in the place you want so it won't slide around at all.
