do you use the BEEP of your head unit?

ive always considered it very important, i dont know why... i could stand fine not using it on any other system besides car audio, since no other has it, but with car audio i always felt the need of having it present every press or click... i dont know why i felt this way, but today things have changed drasticly... i now can't stand this shit no more lol

so i ask you peeps.. what's the real purpose of the beep in only car audio and not in any other audio system used indoors??? do the real car audio experts use it?

this is really weird i think //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

I like the beep. It just seems to confirm what you pressed. I got in a car today with no beep on the radio and i wasnt sure if i adjusted something when I pushed it. Its weird, but I need it.

I don't have a choice in the matter...

Seemingly Kenwood head units only output that confirmation tone through the speaker outputs but not the preamp outputs. Since I am not driving any speakers with the deck I don't hear that beep whether it's turned on in the menu or not.

When I did have the option, though, I always left it on.

I think if you're driving you dont want to have to look at the HU to see if you pushed the button successfully or not.

My HU has a remote, and when using it in conjunction with the beep function, and I can adjust my HU without ever having to take my eyes off the road. Just keep the remote in my hand, and listen for the beeps as I press the buttons. If it beeps "correctly" then I know I was successful //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif
