I use two behringer truth studio monitors for my PC speakers and lately i've been getting this distortion through them. Its a high pitched hissing/static noise.

I tried a USB soundcard, internal soundcard and onboard sound and it all yields the same result.. I really thought an external usb soundcard would fix it.

Its hooked up mono plug > rca > front speaker 3.5mm jack
