Stretch material question

I am getting close to being able to put on my material to form the rest of the fiberglass. The material I have is a lycra/spandex combo that stretches really well. Does it make a difference how thick this is? It is not as thin as a t-shirt but it is not as thick as sweatpants. Can I use it? Thanks!

shouldnt really matter, try a piece to see how it holds up....if it works, it works!

it'll be fine dude

just try and add layers of FGmat on the inside, so it will be tonnes less sanding on the outside

Thanks for the replies. I bought some Cabosil that I will mix with the resin and some ripped up chop mat that I will spread around the inside.
