depending on what you mix it with the alcohol can settle on the bottom. my friends that use straws so they can drink it quicker too.

I drink with a straw sometimes when I put alot of ice in something. I hate that melted ice floating around on top. Tastes like ***. So I use a straw. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I dont know about beer though.

If you drink beer with a straw you'll be swallowing a lot of foam = more surface area = faster absorption

I only use one to stir up a mixed drink like vodka and cranberry juice if its been sitting for a min and ice melted.
