strapping sundown 1500d's

Ok well right now. I got 2 DC sound lvl4 15"S dual1's. Since the sundown3000ds are out of stock. I just went ahead and got 2 1500ds. My only thing is after spending alot of money on the amps. I want to get good output from them. My only wiring options are either 2 ohms each 4ohms strapped. or .5 ohms each 1ohm strapped. I really dont wanna run at 2ohms each 4 ohms strapped after reading the results of the test that only put out about 1900 watts. So heres my question. What would be better running the amps at .5 ohm each unstrapped or 1ohm strapped. Also If I keep voltage about 12 volts will I be pretty safe running them that low. Currenty I have a hc1400 upfront and a 2400 in the rear stock 130 amp alt
