okay i just need to learn how wire the rca together then i can get my amp running. i know about the slave and master, but im having hard time figuring out the rca part. can some1 help me out on this part.

do i use a mono channel rca or a 2 channel rca when connectin to the slave amp?

i have 2 orion hcca d2400 that are strappable.

pictures would help.

can some1 tell me what the blue part means. do i nead a 2 channel rca or 1 mono channel. when connectin to the slave.

Bridging (strapping)

For bridging into a single speaker load, this amplifier has the ability to be bridged with

another amplifier (must be the same model). To do this you must utilize the MASTER/SLAVE

and PHASE switch settings. On the master amplifier, set the switch setting to MASTER. The

signal is then routed through RCA Line Out to the RCA Line In on the other (slave) amplifier.

The slave amplifier must have the MASTER/SLAVE switch set to the SLAVE position. On

the master amplifier make sure the PHASE swtich is set to the 0 position (factory default).

On the slave amplifier set the PHASE switch to 180, exactly opposite of the master amp.

Refer to the Phase Switches section of this guide.

on your amps...you have rca out and rca in....

take your rcas from your head unit into the master amp

take an rca from the rca output of the master amp into the rca input of the master amp

also you do realize you will just use the positive speaker terminals to the sub correct?

take an rca from the rca output of the master amp into the rca input of the master amp
what about the slave amp.

yes i know about how to wirethe sub. i just needed to know the rca part. do i use a single mono rca or use a 2channel rca when connectin it?

its had the input and output next to each other. 2 each. i connect only one wire from master to the slave. it seems to be working. so i should get a short 2 channel rca wire, and connect both output on the master, then connect the other end to the input of the slave amp?

how these sundown have 2 output but they only connect 1 mono wire from master to slave amp.

it looks like 1 wire connect the out of master amp and connect to the output of the slave amp?

because one of the outputs is bridge out and the other is bridge in

the top one is bridge out, bottom is bridge in

also...you don't even have to have both rcas hooked up to the input of a mono amp...and it does not change output at all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

if you did yours like that then it should be fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

just be sure to put a jumper wire between the negative speaker outputs from master to slave
