noticed last week i was losing sound in a speaker or 2, i tried to fade and balance to see which speaker or channel was giving me the problem. found it to be the entire front channel. Anyways if i re-start the truck everything is ok for a bit again then this channel starts to skip like a loose wire. But today i noticed that when it went out and i faded to the back one of the right front speakers was still, on. Now speakers come on and off no matter where i fade. Sometimes rears come on the front channel or vise versa. anyway does this sound like a head unit problem or amp. its a clarion 845 deck, and a 4 channel 400 clarion amp. ALso i hit the cross-over switch on the amp to see if anything was loose there and i had lots of distortion and couldn't get my fronts to come on till i reset my truck again.
