Stoped for illegal tint??????????

I have 35% on my front windows and 20%(illegal) on my back hatch. I have not had a problem yet..knock on wood

Savayant whats the legal tinit for colorado?...... I want my tint to be dark... and like black not looking purple whats a good % tint and how much should i spend i can get itm dopen for 150 with a lifetime warrenty

Having a mini, I've been pulled over a couple of times in my day...most of which were for dragging (ie throwing sparks) but I have been pulled over for tint (flame tint) and if your nice, you'll just get a warning ticket...

Yeah, Ive had that problem before...just gotta be nice, and polite, and most of the time they will let you off.

In my town, you can have a piece of plywood in any window...except your fronts and winshield.

Most places will do illegal tint but they won't give you a receipt for it though, because if they do so many illegals tints and all of them trace back to where it was done they could get into trouble for it. They might give ya lifetime warranty but who knows? I believe here in Indiana its 35% but I'm not sure. Anyone from Indiana happen to know? I'm thinkin about getting my windows tinted as well.

I got pulled over once for speeding, 55 in a 40, and the cop was being a total idiot. Searched me, asked me questions and wouldn't even let me finish my answers...but he ended up letting me off so...yea, try to be nice to the police

Most places the limit is 35%, which to some is too light. Just remember if you go darker, and an officer catches you and it is illegal, they can force you to remove it.

remove it how? do you just rip it off, as in, rip off the sheet of tint? or is there some solution that you can use to dissolve it? My cousin has tint that she wants to take off her acura, so I'm wondering.

Otherwise known as a fix-it ticket...you have to get it removed, and visit the station...just peel it off using a razor blade if needed.

I live in kansas and its 30% legal limit. I have 5% on my back side and my rear windows DONT MESS WITH THE SIDE WINDOWS. My Brothers A Oklahoma state trooper and he doesnt care unless the tint is on the front windows That could get him shot. So anyway dont mess with the sides, and to answer your question I have been harassed over and over by city cops and other city cops telling me my tint was illegal but the BS about it all the time I know the law and they just want me to pull it. You can have as dark as you want on the rear windows and these Idiots think that im stupid.

i've got limo on the back n haven't been stopped yet, but it's legal in cali.i'll be doin the fronts soon, not limo but 3 shades lighter than limo, however i don't think they'll stop u just for that. they'll prob stop u for sometihng else, ie speeding, noise pollution, n then say sometihng bout the tint.

I heard that they were cracking down on it too man. You are allowed up to tint where 70% of light comes in. Its moronic in my opinion to not tint dark. The Ghetto Mobile will never see tint. It deoesn't deserve it. Now If I get another vehicle then hells ya all blacked out!!!!
