It's a rather thick looking "window" brace and is stronger than just doubling up exterier walls and it ties them all together. Good choice...

Yeah man, no offense.

Subs will be 2 RE XXX 18s (05 models) and the box is tuned to 30 so I didnt want the port flexing at all. I have some more pictures. More cleaned up. Also with the amps in the back will be covered anyways . I need trunk space. Im going to add another layer of MDF, wrap it in suede and flush mount the subs. But I will say, quite a mess. The brace touches the front baffle, the top, and the port. Just 3/4 MDF.
