I dont hate him or love him. But in talking to him one on one, he's a nice guy. He helped me out with an alternator setup once. Ive found most people that dont like him dont really know him.

I recently joined SMD just to read through and see whats up. Just reading through 2 pages of his tahoe re-build thread, about 1/2 the comments are just *** kissing and people on his d1ck.

Sure he does terrific work, i can't say how it sounds since i've never heard it in person, but too many people take him as god. Strictly advertisement.

Same deal if you go into best buy or what ever, and some one starts sayin what they have. Yeah I have 2 kicker 12's and a 1200watt amp. 1st of all the 1200w is usually BS, 2nd of all Kicker is the only thing they know (nothing wrong with kicker at all) but there is much louder out there.

However, Steve seems like a regular guy, the fact he does all the work on his installs as well as other ones is a big plus in my book. I dont know him personally, but from what I seen, he is not the problem, the fan base is.
