Go ahead and make fun of MECA if you want, doesn't really bother me. I've still accomplished a lot more than you have, including in DB drag. I can bassrace a 145 with a 10" and a 139 with an 8", while you do a what? 135 with 2 12's? Have you even metered at the headrest? It's not as easy as you perceive it to be. My teammate is actually louder sealed on the dash than he is outlaw at the headrest.

It's pathetic that you run around with a friggin championship belt, claiming you're the king of car audio, or whatever you call yourself nowadays. Not too many people here remember, but I still remember you running your mouth on Carsound and Termpro, talking shit left and right. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they ban you on CarSound for talking so much shit?
If you honestly do have a championship belt, I find that both hilarious and pathetic- it's like Don King carrying around Mike Tyson's championship belts and claiming himself to in fact be champion- King did all the work in the media, but Tyson is the one that stepped in the ring and got shit done.

Furthermore- in my opinion, car audio competition isn't about who can drop their car off at a shop and spend the most money, but who can do constant testing, who can put their own blood and sweat into an install, and have an outcome that they will be proud to bring to a car audio competition.

So you don't have a smart rebuttal to your original statement because this next statement is totally different. Yes, that was me on another forum "three years ago" in which many things have changed and my mentality has changed as well. If you must bask in the old days then do what you please. The whole belt thing as I said before is a gimmick to get guys in the shop to step thier game and beat whoever has the belt at that time. You know that small mom and pop shop love my idea and continue to advertise in the magazine. I guess no one in NY clued you in, since I see you from out here that I was beat for that belt 11 months ago and recently had my chance again to battle to same gentleman ok. It's a GIMMICK, so get a clue and I never said on this forum that I was King Kong because I know for a fact that there are alot of guys louder than me. Do you need me to say that again, let me know. Before you write, you should recheck the meaning of your sentence because it amounts to nothing. From the beginning I have said my intensions but you seem to be stubborn in your ways. I give installers or people that do their own work alot of credit on what they do but I think guys who spend the money at shops either dont know how to or don't have the time or just lazy. In my case, I don't have the time or never learned how to build a box, so excuse me for living another life past Car Audio. According to you that means no person with a paid install can enjoy a show. So I guess that will leave out a chunk of the crowd!.

everyone hates fusing is because they dont understand the dynamics of managing your setup's power reqiurements, so they'd rather just not run any. I hate dealing with it too, but its the "game" ... so to speak.

I don't see where the fun is in paying someone to install a setup to compete. I may lose in a comp, I may never burp a 150, but at least I know the work was mine.

I do pay for box designs, so I see where you are coming from to an extent.
