Maybe in America buddy. You guys are funny haha.Dude you can get a 7k for almost the same price than than a sundown 3k.
There's a few people running his 7kd daily without any problems at all. I used to play mine at .5 all day long, Strong Amps and I don't see a lot of refurbished as sundown's
All my subs hate me FYI
Ask korn, he got his 7k for sale, pretty good deal imo.Maybe in America buddy.IDK. got a PM on another forum, new 4k2d, $1200 cad, used 7K2d, can't remember if its a 16v or 12. $1000 for it.
Ok.... how much you want to pay for 7k? $500 bucks? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifOH!.
Still, though.
Still rather confused on the 12 vs 16V argument.
http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=344979ok, not to confuse anyone but this amp only has 7 extra capacitors from stock which allows the amp to hold power for burps instead of falling off quickly like the 7kd does. Watch video's and you'll see what i'm talking about. This amp can still play music great but is better at burps for competition then stock one is. The standard version at 1 ohms is almost as much power as the one i tested. The standard 7k2d was designed to do great power from 10v up to 15.5v and anything higher will go into protect. So standard 7k2d is just normal no 12v or 16v. But stetsom will offer the 7k2d in a 16-18 v version. Hope that clears things up.
Hmm. I'll see what I can find out. Will either go with a 4K2D or get a 7K2D and run it at like 2 ohm or something, would give me some roomDare to be different. Go with stetsom. I have a 4k2d that I use daily and have had zero problems. Also had 2 different 2k6d's that i ran daily wiith no issues at all.
I hate that I have to cover this once a week... but here we go.I don't see a lot of refurbished as sundown's
Ahhh. Thanks for clearing that up Jacob.I hate that I have to cover this once a week... but here we go.
With our warranty I send the customer a brand new replacement amp 99% of the time. This way they don't have down-time waiting for a repair.
So, what to do with the old amp ? Thats right, dB-R gets it and sells it as refurbished.
This included amps from the SPL Team and anyone that blows an amp for almost any reason.
From what I understand Stetsom fixes them and sends them back to the customer. Nothing wrong with that - but you don't see refurbished amps because the customer still has the same amp.
Hope that clears it up for you.
