I have questions.

I have two Mach 5 SPL-12s.

I'm planning if everything goes right, I think it should, I will be putting around 3000W per sub.

I was planning on getting two refurbished Sundown SAZ-3000Ds, but I have been considering Stetsom now aswell.

I don't understand the 12V and 16V versions.

I'm not sure which version would be best for me.

I think a 12V setup will be best for me, although not really sure.

Had planned on running two stock GM AD244 145 amp alternators from the fullsize GMs, and have them dedicated to a battery 'bank' in the bed of my truck. If its not enough juice I guess I will have to save and get some H/O alternators.. just more time it'll take and more money...

its really quite simple.

if you're going to be running a 16volt set up in your ride then

you use the 16volt version

if you're going to run standard batts (12-14v) then you

use the 12volt version...

pretty cut and dry ....

good luck

i think the original 12v 7kd's didnt like ANYTHING over like 13v or sumthing, they were supposed to be used by competitors on battery banks....

but apparently the newer ones arent like this, so the 12v 7k2d is where its at //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Not that I have any problems or issues with Stetsom, I personally would not play with that kind of $ and not know what I am getting for sure. Plus I don't care if they are 90% efficient, the amount of heat sink you get with 2 SAZ 3000d's will way out do a single heatsink of a 7k. on top of that if one does die (which almost never happens) you still have tunes. On top of all that, if you get them from Chris at dB-r, you get a 1 year warr.

Well, I've never seen a Sundown amp in person either.

There both something I can't just go look at, so I have to rely on teh interwebz.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
