i would venture to say that if sound quality from your subs is what you want than this is not for you

but for your subs if you just want spl and gobs of power than it is perfect

I would suggest upgraded alt and nice battery or 2.. I ran a 150 amp alternator, kinetik 2000, and a pair of Orbital Purple Haze deep cycle batterys.. had a total of 200 ah total in battery power

ok cool. well i will be able to upgrade the betteries and do the big 3 but will have to wait on the alt.

i usually can get customers 3000 watt crunch GP's running with minimal voltage drop using

125 to 150 amp alt minimum ( until HO alt can fit into your budget)

1 dedicated 1/0 power run from front to back for mono amp only ( mid and high amp needs its own power run )

1 upgraded underhood battery like optima-kinetic- stinger-powermaster

1 larger trunk battery like optima -stinger-powermaster- kinetic

1/0 ground off mono amp 15" length or shorter

1/0 power wire from alt to + terminal on underhood battery

1/o ground wire from - terminal underhood battery to frame if possible

this will make the amp work good , until HO alt can be added along with another trunk battery

in theory keeping all batteries matching is nice so the resistance is the same

well what if i just got like a yellow top or something along that thing and ran it in the back but kept my stock up front? and i plan on running all 1/0

start car

turn on lights

put ac on

crank music full tilt

use volt meter at - & + inputs on mono amp and monitor what your voltage is doing
