Stereo or Speakers just stopped working

For some reason when I got into my truck today and put stereo in, I had no sound, everything powered up and worked fine, just no sound.

Tried turning off stereo and truck and turning back on. When I would do that I would hear a static type noise and pop from front speakers. Well it seemed more like coming from my front driver speaker, but that could just be because it's closer to me.

Everything worked fine yesterday.

Both the stereo and the front speakers are new so I'm not sure what to blame. Just took stereo out and rechecked wiring and everything looks good on that end (although that really doesn't mean anything). Haven't checked speakers wiring yet though.

I also checked the fuses and all looks good.

Stereo is a ClarionDXZ575USB

Speakers are 6 1/2" Infinity 6022si

Any advice on what else to check besides speakers? I'll check them as soon as I get a chance.

Your running these speakers off the internal amp in the H.U? Or are you running an external amp for the speakers?

Speakers are running off of HU.
