steering wheel controls w/aftermarket?

so if i am to install aftermarket in dash dvd, will i lose steering wheel functions such as volume and scroll through songs/radio presets?

most higher end aftermarket head units have the technology to integrate the steering wheel controls. Read through the mfg website specs and it should tell you whether or not you can integrate them
