Steering wheel controls after harness installed...

Car:

2001 Accord EX

Situation:

I am installing inline converters so that i can run RCA's to an amp. Instead of tapping into the stock wiring harness i mad a 'bridge' out of a regular harness and a reverse harness. I have tapped into the speaker wires in this harness for my signal and the remote on wire. Other than that all wires are accounted for and nothing was left out.

Problem:

I have lost the steering wheel controls.

Question:

Why did this happen?

Also:

Is there a factory amp and if so where is it located?

Thanks,

Brian

I went over the wiring once more and found that scosche or whatever harness i used didnt include two wires that were in the stock harness. Im going to add these and see if this fixes the problem. If this doesnt take care of the issue ill check back on here.

Thanks,

Brian

im not really shure which wires were left out.

the problems that i had without the wires were the srs light going on and off and the steering wheel functions not working at all.

i had another harness laying around that i just pulled wires from. after adding these everything worked fine.
