the argument that really pisses me off is the whole media is better on mac's.
seeing that osx and winblows are both run via some sort of unix code and they both use the same chip architexture\ram\ect - the only difference should be the kernal (windows or osx) and how can you say that an operating system can edit music and video differently under the same software?
sure, it might be 2% faster eaither way, but who gives a flying fuck. do i spend 2~4 thousand dollars on the newest mac to run it - or do i spend 2~4 thousand dollars on a new pc to run it. regardless of what choice you go - will only change the actual INTERFACE between the two said companies.
mac = user friendly with no options and low compatibility, gay marketing scams, only authorized dealers, and virtually no DIY market.
pc = not so user friendly, with MANY OS choices, almost 100% compatibility, not much marketing at all, and a plethora of different companies to choose from - including the DIY market.
so what? all studios use mac for video\music\graphic editing?! OHNOES! imo - that whole industry is biased toward mac for some unknown reason. PC's today are sold for cheaper and are just as powerful. you can put together your own pc that will wreck a mac for half the price (assuming you use the 64bit xp os to gain higher amounts of ram because xp 32bit only recognizes ~3.5gb). i dont see any mac with quad 6800 SLI videocards and quad dual core processors and like 8+ gigs of ram. or overclockability.
i wont even get into the iphone argument. that technology has been in asia for a while now.
i just think that macintosh has their head so far up their ***** i cant explain it. these iphone commercials make me want to cut my wrists.
fucking emo faries.
