Static Help Please

hi, im running a shitty 4ch amp to my 6x9's and 6.5's.

when i unhook the red rca from the amp I hear static. If i remove the black one, and keep the red plugged in...one of the speakers sounds great.

I tried this on the other input too, for my rears....same problem!!!!! and they are different rca cables

since you have a excelon im gonna go ahead and say reset your head unit. unhook from battery or pull the harness. may sound crazy but i had this problem once with my excelon reset the head unit and fixed the problem. if that dont do it try different rca's. if that dont do it probably the amp.

could be that the one cable is stripped somewhere along the car and is grounded to the chassis
