Started on false floor today, pics inside, more to come as I progress

More pics:

Got windows cut out. Tried to cut the plexi but it kept chipping...was using a jigsaw, so I'm gonna have to figure something else out. It's 1/4" thick plexi...anyone have any suggestions?

I'm going to cover that portion of wood that is showing on the bottom layer...didn't realize it was so noticeable until I had already secured my amp.

I still am waiting on my 1000/1 to come in from warranty. That'll go on the left side.

Don't have bandsaw. Have a router, roto-zip, circle saw, table saw, & jigsaw...any other thoughts?

I was using a wood jigsaw blade with 10 TPI. I tried another blade that had 192343 teeth and still chipped....

The last time i had to cut plexi, i had to use a jig-saw as well. It started chipping on me, and i was at a loss for an idea how to avoid it. So, i figured i would try taping off where the cuts would be made, and it worked fairly well. get an idea of where your cuts need to be made, tape them off, then make your exact measurements and draw your lines. When your done, carefully strip off the tape, so in the event that it DID still chip, you won't break it off. Good luck!

Scratch it with a knife, spray something flammable on it, light it, then bend/break it free...

Never tried it personally, but seen it done.

It's supposed to be the best way to get clean edges on plexi

I actually did that. I used duct tape and pressed it FIRMLY on the plexi...cracked right through it.
