Started my big three today. Good so far?

u need to run ur positive straight to the battery, but as others have said you really need to do it all to yield a difference. it has made a noticable difference in all my cars

x2...just finished my "Big 3" upgrade...all Knu 0/1 gauge...ROCKS! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
Mine made a huge difference (with my temporary system). It lowered voltage drop considerably (relatively to how little power I'm currently running:eek:).

Indeed, BUT there is no since in having 20' of 1/0, If you got the stock alt lead inline with it.
I also just figured out were talking about two seperate cars. lol
haha yea im the one with 20 feet but i guess me majoring in electical construction taught me enough to know that your big three can only carry as much current as the smallest wire and therefore i went 1/0 alt positive unbroken to battery positive

I haven't driven around too much since doing it but have noted that it has been consistently charging at about 15v, which is near the top end range of my GM. The range for my truck is 11v to 15.5v.

i finished my big three completely now and im still getting considerable dimming. i even ran more than one engine block to chassis just for the hell of it and two battery grounds. all1/0 wire and im only pushing like 900 to 1000 watts rms..
