i have the same question...but for me its like solid stains on a white carpet that probably should just be replaced but were in college and dont feel like paying for it..im not even sure a steam vac would work

tuff stuff works really well. what also works well is Armorall. spray it on the stain, let it sit a minute and wipe the carpet. i bought this car that had this huge red stain in tan carpet that had been there for a year. heard on tv armorall works on stains, so i tried it and it worked great.

well if its hooker blood i use hydrogen peroxide to break it up the the ol steamcleaner works every time

not sure. they were on there when i acquired the car from my brother. and what do u mean what kind of carpet?

I'm sure most people assumed you meant home carpet

Here's what I would do, as it's worked on everything for me pretty much from car to mattresses, to household carpet, everything pretty much.

First wet the area with 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Allow it to dry naturally or use a towel, fan, or wet/dry vac to assist in drying. Once dry, sprinkle baking soda over the area, and then pour a solution of hydrogen peroxide and dishwashing soap onto the baking soda. (I usually use 1/2 cup peroxide and a tablespoon of dishwashing soap). Work it in with a brush and allow it to dry, once dry vacuum it up.

This has worked for pretty much any and every thing I've had on my carpet or fabric, ever.

Since it's probably regular automotive carpet, cheap, common products like Woollite work pretty well. 303 Spot Cleaner is particularly good, but you can only get it online. Make sure to apply the product liberally and let it soak for at least 5 minutes. Scrub it in initially with a hard-bristled brush, and then vigorously rub it out with a towel. It may take several tries to get the results you want, but this will get out 90% of stains.

If you have a Dual-Action polisher equipped with a terry towel pad, these stains come out in seconds.

Oxydeep gets anything out, period...even if you dont scrub it, just spray it on and come back later and it'll be gone...may have to do light scrubbing
