The 2nd wasn’t the 1st it was after that when you began to wonder how I began to spit such a verse, but then after that u still scratched your head trying to figure out what he just said

The 3rd wasn’t it, but I had taken u to a higher level that was more legit folks just couldn’t figure out how I began to flip the script but after playin it over and over, you finally realized that u got slapped w/the same ish

Finally I came w/the 1st, u thought it was all over when I started it before but now I’m doin it again and u ask yourself why – well the dub isn’t why it’s the c that makes u try & look harder to see what he’s talking about but then u still wonderin how I was able to dish it all out, after u’ve figure all that out come back and maybe I’ll draw it up, we’ll sit back in the chair for hours in silence dang dog, how could this guy spit such ish, 1st he came at us and made us really think then he flipped the script and brought everyone in the game to a higher requirement, after that he did his 2nd one but dang we’re still wonder what juice was he on, maybe I’ll try to explain how it was done but u’ll never understand it b/c I’ve just completed the first one!

Moving through the street, footsteps on the canvas

Incomplete masterpieces in all directions I glance

Eyes brush the art, framed upon the memory

Hung along the hope to retain the energy

Every thought inspired from the chaotic perfection

Hypnotic reflections admired, caught the affection

Fought the rejection, textures blend in the sunlight

Frenzied images scurry worried it becomes night

None fight that every flower serves its purpose

And some might think that all the dirt is worthless

Its work is of the blurry canvas already finished

Blots to some, stagnant in the steady grimace

In this search for the path to interpret the piece of art

Perched upon a task to work; at least a start

Reach apart from reality through the looking glass

Shook the mask, able to study the crooked path

With every step the canvas continues to morph

Brushes follow the sun as it descends on its course

Forced to reflect on each and every memory drawn

Placed back on the hope, where it'll never be gone

I'd only drop the brush to admire the art

It only takes a glance before I'm inspired to start

I'd only stalk the day if I could get more glances

But I can only walk this way, footsteps on the canvas

Intrigued that the artist is a part of the painting

Bought the canvas at birth but started at eighteen

Found the canvas in footsteps, began the masterpiece

Splashed my feet in night, the sun was fast asleep

I walk; empty hands soak in drops from the fountain

Climb up to find the source at the top of the mountain

Found the brush in the hills with the aid of experience

Found the paint when the falls down made me delirious

A long gaze into the pond and its muddy reflections

In the water, found a bond and studied its lessons

A muse in the sun, the light caressed to my ego

Inspired by her certainty, blessed to the people

Watch her fall continuing yesterday's cycle

Adjusting the brush for the next day's arrival

Waking to paint the dreams of the night before

Aching to frame everything I might explore

Find the next hill, inspired enough to touch

Inspired enough to live, enough to trust the brush

Knowing when I fill the canvas I'll sit and rest

Pass the brush along, knowing I did my best
