ok so i am getting a fi ssd and im wondering what all the options mean. like what the copper coil does, and the flatwind thing, and that sort of stuff so if somebody could let me know im going for SQL if that means anything.

so if i understand this right the flatwound coil is for SPL and power handling, and the copper coil is for sq? oh and what do they mean by peaking? is this good or bad?

oh and how would this sub compare to a mj-18 cuz thats what im coming from, and i dont want to sacrifice too much output? also i know the L7 sounds like *** but will it get much louder than this?

MJ 18 to SSD 18??... You won't sacrifice any output, probably gain... All these questions about "loud," how much power are you planning to run... Give the SSD at least 800 and the same goes with L7, if not more..

im talking about going from the 18 to a ssd 12 with about 1000 watts lol, i only wish i could fit an ssd 18 in my car but thats not possible
