Im going to be upgrading my sub stage to 1-12 or 2-10s ported. Was wondering what the better sub would befor loud SQL in the trunk of a 01maxima? The 12 would get 1000w at 1ohm and the 10s would get around 1600w at 1ohm.

I was thinking the Fi would be a much better choice but after a recent thread im not sure.

Thanks for any help or advice

^^^ That use to be a good selling point but in todays world $$$ trumps all else. I would go with a pair of ssd 10's over a pair of sa 10's based just on specs. head to head a stock ssd and a sa will prob be very close. Most will depend on the enclosures not what sub is in there.

Thanks guys, I would like to buy American and Fi seems to be the cheapest and good quality. I talked to a guy from DC for awhile but he said the new Level 3s wont be out until mid january. Im going to look into SSA tonight, already know IA is over my budget.

Im running Megaloud VX2 right know and Im very happy with them, there made in USA. Problem is that there next step up is the Inferno 1200w RMS and its $500. Noones probably ever heard of Megaloud but they make good stuff.

deff go 2 10's man. Would blow a 12 outa the water anyday. As stated before, more cone area=more bass

I hear great things about both products. Although ure best bet may be SSA's black friday sale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Ide wait to see how cheap there subs r gunna b friday
