The XCON is better in every way than the SA. It sounds excellent, gets loud, and is very efficient. You should definitely build a new enclosure though to get the most out of the XCON.How are they with SQ? I'm hoping it will be worth switching grin my single SA12 to this.
Yes, we have recone kits available on our store. If you can get a photo of the back plate, that will be a dead give away. The original Xcon had a vented pole, the new Xcon has a solid pole with riffled CNC cooling channels internally.Well since we have SSA here, might as well ask. If something is wrong with it(will definately get it for a lower price) do you guys sell recone kits? And is there a way to find out if it's a newer or older model?
