Is the aluminum (I think that's what it is) stronger than the ferrite material used for the slugs themselves (magnetically speaking)?

The back plate is machined out of a chunk of Steel.

Good question as we have not put one in a 4th order. We have very few people ask about BP that we don't spend much time on those designs. If someone has the time to model it up, that would be great. Both drivers you are talking about are high xmax, low end monsters, but use different motor topology to get there.

ive wanted to hear some of these, but not sure of anyone in the area with them. How come the 18 is only $30 more than the 10??
