Got mine running off a 1000d and it sounds soo good and hits the lows with authoity.

exactly. as for a comparison between the rlp and the icon.......all i know is im never getting rid of my rlp. but i deff know my next sub to add to the collection is the icon.

I've got a 10" ICON and love it tuned to 35hz, though I wish I tuned a bit lower with the box it's currently in.
