SSA Icon 15" vs. DC Sounds Level 4

The DC sub is louder and it does hit the lows that the Icon does...the Icon is a little smoother through the frequencies,

Price wise the icon and DC are pretty close to the same for comparable sizes. I have both a level 4 and icon here by me and just looking at them you dont even wonder which ones louder the motor on the lvl 4 dwarfs the icon.

I found a good comparison to be my lvl 3 and the icon as the sounds were pretty simular minus the icon being able to soak up the power.

Thank you everyone for the replies so far... Yeah and if i was to get the Icon 15, it would be nice to get one in a loaded fisher box.

I was just going to recommend that, his prices are surprisingly good, also with the preloaded enclosures. I have no experience with SSA or DC Sounds, but i do have experience with FI, and i love my Q.

If you ever plan on coming to the city, shoot me a pm, you can hear my setup, its really loud and clear, i love it. Also have a BJ Fisher box as well. Also my Q is not getting no where near the power it wants, but for 750rms or so, its wanging nicely.

The Level 4 is a lot bigger/better sub if you ask me. Id compare the level 3 to the icon.
