SSA ICON 10 compared to Sa8

Lol. I'm just messing around man. I can't speak for the sa8.. but I do love these icons. Sound great sealed although mine aren't at the moment. But I ran my single 12 in a sealed box for a little bit. No disappointments

This is the answer I was looking for.So I guess the bigger the sub the more vibrations?

More output but there is more to it then that.

That only works comparing the same line up. Like the P3 15 can be louder then the P3 12. But a P3 15 will get spanked but a ICON 10.

How would this two compare? IM CURRENTLY running a Sa8v3 on a .88 cf box tuned at 38hz. It does get loud and actually gets as loud as my RFp3 12 got with the exeption that the RF would get lower and made the car vibrate wayy more but its a 10 right. How would a SSA Icon compare to the Sa8 in terms of output? Id be running it in a sealed box around .90 cubes and off of a DD M1D on around 1000w. Should I go ahead and sell both of my Sa8s my box and get an Icon 10 with sealed box? The music I listen to mostly the bass is usuly 50-80hz so going lowww doesnt really matter much.Thanks for any input im feeling kinda lost lol

If you are ever in orange county, hit me up, i'll take a look at your car and see what would be best for you. You can also test out some songs in my system so i know what you are looking for bass wise and we can talk about what would be the best driver and alignment for you. It could be an SA 8 in a T line .

ICON does not belong in a sealed box, you wont get anywhere with it inside one.

Sorry if it bothers you. You've probably tried 8s 10s 12s n 15s already. Me ive only had Sa8s and a rf p12 before. I have heard 10s before but its been for a few seconds and obiously everyone has their EQ setup differently. If i had a 10 for a couple days then I wouldnt compare it or be asking because I would already have first. Hand experience. And also the p3 fosgate I had it over a year ago and was bassless for a while.

Size don't dictate how subs sound.
